When you become a Perfect Little Website client, we register your domain in your name. You are the legal owner from the moment of registration. Your name appears on the WHOIS public registry. The domain is yours.
We hold the technical management of the domain on our internal registrar account because most service business owners don't want to mess with registrar logins, EPP codes, or DNS configuration. This is a service we provide, not a claim on your property.
You can request transfer of your domain to your own registrar account at any time, for any reason, free of charge. We will complete the transfer within 5 business days of your written request.
If you cancel.
Your domain goes with you. We transfer it to whatever registrar account you specify, free of charge, within 5 business days.
If you buy out at month 26.
Your domain stays where it is, unless you want to move it. If you stay on $49/mo hosting, nothing changes. If you take the code and leave, we transfer the domain to your new registrar within 5 business days.
If something happens to us.
In the unlikely event that Perfect Little Website is sold, dissolved, or otherwise unable to continue operations, all client domains will be transferred to a designated successor agent (currently WhatArmy LLC, our parent company) for a minimum of 12 months while clients arrange transfer to their own accounts.
No fees, no friction.
We do not charge transfer fees. We do not require a reason for transfer. We do not penalize cancellation. The domain is yours.
