Small business
website examples
Every page carries a banner saying it is an example, not a real business. A portfolio full of unlabelled mock-ups is how agencies pass off work they never shipped.
The same library builds all four. A palette, a type pairing and a shape personality are what change. That is why a small budget still buys a site that looks made for you.
Phone numbers are tappable. Hours agree between pages. Every site has a sitemap, structured data, and a 404 that helps. Most small business sites fail at least one of those.
A single scrolling page is cheaper to build and worse at getting found. Each of these has a page for the things people actually search for.

Bright Dental is a sample build, not a real client.
Bright Dental
A practice that needs nervous patients to feel calm before they ever call.
- + Opening hours appear on the home page as seven rows and on the contact page as collapsed ranges, both from one source, so they cannot contradict each other.
- + Six services, each with a price or an honest 'custom quote' rather than a blank.
- + A membership page for patients without insurance, which is the question dental practices field most.

Whitman & Associates is a sample build, not a real client.
Whitman & Associates
A mid-market firm whose site has to carry the same authority as the practice.
- + No opening hours anywhere, because a firm that works by appointment publishing 9 to 5 invites the wrong call.
- + An engagements and fees page, which is the page prospective clients actually look for and most firms refuse to write.
- + Serif typography and generous spacing doing the work that stock photography usually gets asked to do.

Apex Roofing is a sample build, not a real client.
Apex Roofing
A trade with no storefront, judged on how fast someone picks up.
- + No street address, because there isn't one. The site states a service area instead of inventing premises.
- + Sunday reads 'Storm calls only', which is neither open nor closed and is the truth for a roofer.
- + Heavy condensed type and hard edges, the opposite end of the same component library from Bright Dental.
Calderwood Insurance

Calderwood Insurance is a sample build, not a real client.
Calderwood Insurance
A local agency competing against national brands with enormous ad budgets.
- + Leads with comparing thirty-plus carriers, which is the one thing a national direct writer cannot say.
- + A claims page, because the moment people search for an agency by name is usually the moment something has gone wrong.
- + A quote page built as a real form rather than a phone number and a hope.
These four businesses do not exist. We built them to show the work rather than to imply a client list we have not earned, which is why every page on them says so. When we have client sites we are allowed to name, they will go here alongside these, clearly marked as the real ones.
What is real is the build. Same components, same checks before anything goes live, same six pages. Point your current site at the free report card and compare it against any of these.
